Insulation & Acoustic is a Gold Coast polyester manufacturer of
thermal insulation, acoustic insulation, filter media, bedding
products, furniture pads and ducting insulation.
Austex is a private company and was established on three
separate industrial sites in the late 80's, the company has two
manufacturing lines.
In March 2009 Austex was acquired by the privately owned Autex
Group of companies to complete an organisational manufacturing
presence in New Zealand, Western Australia, Victoria, New South
Wales and Queensland.
In 2009 it is proposed to re-brand Austex and trade as Autex
Queensland Pty Ltd, moving forward the company will still remain
a stand-alone subsidiary of the Autex group.
Austex manufactures a vast range of polyester products for a multitude of purposes. Polyester is one of the worlds most commonly used fibres. Not only is it used extensively in clothing and bedding products, but it is also used as a highly effective, durable and healthy insulation product
